Troubled and stubborn, young Kafka-ready Sean is a misfit gothic student from a small town in Canada. While trying to protect himself from the constant pressure of his schoolmates, he threatens someone with death over the internet. He is eventually arrested, placed in a reformatory, and falsely accused by the media and authorities of planning a Columbine-like gun massacre.
