Black Bread (2010)

In the stark Catalan countryside following the war, young Andreu, aligned with the vanquished, stumbles upon the bodies of a man and his son in the woods. The authorities target his father for the crime, prompting Andreu to uncover the real murderer to clear his father's name. As he delves deeper, Andreu's awakening sense of morality clashes with an adult world steeped in deception. To navigate this treacherous landscape, he is compelled to forsake his heritage, ultimately confronting the darkness within himself.
