Ji jie hao - Assembly 2007 Movie In 1949, during the battles of Huaihai during the Chinese Civil War, Captain Guzidi, commander of the 9th Infantry Division, was tasked with fighting until he received the order to retreat. In the deadliest moments of the battle, when the company suffers heavy losses and its ammunition is nearly exhausted, the captain's most loyal man orders a retreat before surrendering. Captain Gu does not believe his friend and insists that they continue to fight at all costs. He soon realizes that his reinforcements have left the battlefield and that his subordinates may have given their lives in vain because of his insistence. Enraged, Gu attacks enemy trenches alone, but survives and awakens disembodied in a hospital. Here, hearing that the company under his command has been recorded as "lost" because there is not a single witness to their fate, Gu vows to prove the sacrifices and honors of the forty-six people under his command and sets out.
