People under the bombs were waiting for the impending disaster, and Russian soldiers, entering the city, began to rape the German women they captured. A struggling German journalist develops a romantic relationship with a Russian major to avoid the inevitable rape. Meanwhile, all of Berlin was experiencing the tragic consequences of the occupation.
