Haunted by the suppression of his exposé on alleged Canadian sniper misconduct in Afghanistan, journalist Luke (Nick Stahl) abandons his career, yet intensifies his pursuit of the truth. Accompanied by his unconventional friend, Tom (Nicolas Wright), Luke returns to the war-torn country, determined to unearth irrefutable evidence.
