After Kacopoulos (Eli Wallach) manages to avoid hanging on a false accusation, he steals a lot of money from Cat Stevens (Terrence Hill) and Hutch Bessie (Bud Spencer) and steals their horses. This leads to a hilarious chase, and Stevens and Bessie unwittingly become allies in Cacopoulus' revenge on the people who dumped him and set him up to get their money back.
