On the way to port, the ship is captured by Somali pirates and its crew is taken hostage. An insidious life-and-death struggle ensues between the head of the shipping company and Somali pirates after demanding millions of dollars in ransom. This is the second directorial effort of Tobias Lindholm, the successful screenwriter of Thomas Vinterberg's "Submarine" and "War of Pride".
