When Annie Cooper takes over her late grandmother's small-town biscuit business and does everything she can to help get her struggling business back on track, she faces a major challenge. The task becomes even more difficult when her grandmother's secret recipe is stolen during the Christmas party. As Annie tries to crack the case and find the culprit, she teams up with Sam, the owner of a local bakery, to recreate the recipe in hopes of saving the company and her job. As Annie and Sam bake batch after batch in search of the perfect bake, they come to understand that their lives belong like milk and cookies.
