Father’s Chair (2012)

Theo's life in an affluent Brazilian neighborhood seems perfect on the surface - a dedicated doctor, loving husband, and devoted father. However, as he prioritizes his career over his family, cracks begin to appear in his once idyllic life. With his mentor and father figure on his deathbed and his wife seeking a divorce, Theo's world is falling apart. But the ultimate blow comes when he returns home one day to find his teenage son, Pedro, missing without a trace. Determined to find his son, Theo embarks on a journey across Brazil that forces him to confront his priorities and rediscover what truly matters to him. As he searches for his son, Theo ultimately finds himself in the process.
