After four years of trying to overcome the trauma from the horrifying events in the film "The Nun," Sister Irene finds herself amidst rumors of strange occurrences and unexplained deaths. Soon enough, she is summoned back to the old monastery to investigate these bizarre incidents. Through her research, Irene discovers that the demon known as Valak has returned and is even more powerful than before. Determined to confront her fears, Sister Irene decides to face off against the demon.
