Diren! will be released in Turkey on January 15, 2016. The US-made movie is directed by Sarah Gavron and written by Abi Morgan. The 106-minute film, which features Biography, Drama and History, starring names such as Carey Mulligan, Anne-Marie Duff and Helena Bonham Carter, was screened exclusively at the Telluride Festival in Colorado on September 4, 2015. It is about the struggle of women who took one of the first feminist steps in one of the most important movements in history, against an increasingly ugly government. This group of women meets in secret and the members are working class women. At first, they follow peaceful methods in their actions. However, their struggle for equality for both their personal lives and working conditions will reach a more serious dimension in the future.
