The world is reduced to rubble by a massive earthquake, leaving everyone unaware of the extent of the damage and the scope of the earthquake's effects. The exact cause of the earthquake is also unknown. Amidst the chaos, the Hwang Gung Apartment stands as the only building still standing at the heart of Seoul.
As time goes by, foreigners seeking refuge from the extreme cold start flocking to the Hwang Gung Apartment. With the increasing number of people, the residents of the apartment begin to feel their survival is threatened. In response, they take special measures to ensure their own safety.
